Innovate Debate: Applied Curriculum for Debate-based Youth Work (IDAC) is a project that expands an interactive approach to learning, helping young people develop critical thinking and communication skills.

While debate, public speaking, and rhetoric are part of formal education in some parts of the world, primarily in private schools, in the European Union, debate is mostly an extracurricular activity. Education and activities related to debate are usually organized by non-governmental organizations, including our members. Within our network of over 1,300 debate trainers, most of whom are volunteers, countless hours are invested to provide young people with education through debate. The IDAC project helps reach even more youth and improves the quality of debate education.
