Speak & Act

The Speak & Act: Public Speaking for Global Citizenship project brings together five partner organizations from four European countries, including the project coordinator, Liceo Scientifico Statale Galileo Galilei Perugia, and partners from Italy, Portugal, Poland, and Slovenia (ZIP). The aim of the project is to enhance students’ communication and civic competencies through various forms of public speaking and to promote youth activism and political participation.

In 2022, the partners developed a curriculum for teacher training and began preparing a collection of didactic exercises for teachers and students. A transnational partner meeting was held in June in Portugal, and in November, an international training event took place in Martuljek, where participants tested and evaluated the materials and planned further activities.

The project is coordinated in Slovenia by Rok Hafner.
